Most PSUs have different pinout diagram. Unlike Corsair PSUs that has almost uniform, inline pinout between device-end and PSU end (1:1), other brands and models has multiple wire crossing to each other. In most SFF cases with tight clearance, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get a clean look despite the short, custom cable length.
One way to reduce the crossing-wires is by rearranging the original pinout to get the cleaner cable routing. This can be done as long as the relocated pin match the default voltage source on PSU end.
Worry not, we always do a test on actual PC to ensure no issues and correct voltage reading. The result of the test is always available for you.
